The Purpose of this area is to acquaint people with aspects of history that is generally not known to the public or taught in schools. These facts are not always flattering to America, they aren't always dignifying America's hero's, but they do reveal insights into the false picture of our country that many of us have. The intention is not to tear down America, quite the contrary, it about re-thinking our perspective of America, what she is, what she stands for, and how we can pass this unique treasure on to future generations of Americans. One by one we are all America. The perspective's we create for ourselves and pass to our children will change the world and re-define who we are and were as a people. Contained in these pages are Quotes, Facts (with Sources), Pictures, and humor of history as it related to the United States of America, its society, its self perceptions, its foundations, and its interaction with the non-America (the rest of the world). John Adams, Federalist, 2nd President of the United States of America (1785-1826) and his Congress passes the Sedition Act of 1798. This act neuters the 1st Amendment.
Communism was the first form of government on the American continent. Well before the formation of the United States, William Bradford and his Jamestown settlement were communist. The local governing aristocracy owned all land, cattle, and goods and evenly distributed it among its colonies population. When they were nearly dead from hard weather and starvation the Bradford and his council decided it was every man for himself. They divided the land and livestock among the men gave each seeds and allowed them to fend for themselves. Thus communism in America died and gave way to self-interest (Capitalism). Americans today revere the American flag but George Washington never carried the flag and John Adams didn't even know what it looked like.
