I checked this book out of the library. Its scary t think that people can say stuff like these people did and we know nothing about it. Looking back after reading only some of this book (it really bothered me) its a wonder we haven't been attacked more. That said I still don't think we have any business staying in Iraq or Afghanistan. We can defend ourselves from here.

The trouble is Smart, that our country isn't able to handle a war on our own land. Imagine how you and your neighbors would live if a terrorst blew themselves up at the local mall or supermarket? Would you think twice before shopping there? Wouldn't you avoid those places?

Its best to keep the fighting over there. We have profesisonals fighting while we sit on our arses and grow fat.

If we mind our own business they will keep to themselves. We need to stop meddling in other countries politics and let them have the government that they choose for themselves. We don't have to like a dictatorship, or socialism, or communism as a nation but we have to respect another peoples choice to have the country they want.

I'm not at all surprised that they are ticked at us.

YoungEinstein - did you even open this book? I thought like you did until I glanced at it in the library. Once I started reading I had to check it out. The quotes go back way before 9-11. You should look at this book before you believe too hard on what you wrote. Its not just about Islamic hate, its about what they Chinese and Russians are saying too.
