No thing so so conveluted in American minds than the Bill of Rights. Through common expression many Americans misrepresent what "Rights" mean. How can Americans reclaim their birthright if they have no true sense of what rights mean in America?

The Right to bear arms, to keep weapons, is a corner stone of America's heritage. It is the tool which prevents, as Jefferson forsaw it, government from usurping the authority bestowed by God to each and every free person. It is only through fear that governments tread softly and sparingly on the will of the people.

Americans are not "Allowed" or "permitted" to own weapons,to assemble, to speak freely, or to revolt from an oppressive goverment.  These things, in Thomas Jeffersons eyes, are inalienable (incapable of being alienated, surrendered, transferred, or taken away), they are divinely given from an authority that no man can dispute, alter, or change.

Revolution is no small matter. A time of national weakness can result in a total loss of this nation. Yet something stunning must be done to realign the proper fear into elitist politicians so they once again represent and answer to the will of the American people despite any other personal interest.

Suggestion: Illegal Aliens enjoy marching thorough out streets while pansified politicians with self serving interests instruct INS and local police to simply observe. Americans need to stand en masse throughout every city across the nation. The Mexicans want to halt the economy? Americanscan show our government who has the authority by taking their legal arms and congregating ourside the offices of every public official. The flood of lawful Americans conjesting traffic as it has never been seen in our nations history would overwhelm police (they couldnt arrest us fast enough). The halt to productivity and the cesation of modility by an armed, but passive, mass of people would terrify politicians.
No voilence would be needed. All thats required is that many Americans take a day off from work and use their rights (permits be damned).

Just let me know where to march and I'll do it.  Free men don't ask permission to bare arms!

It is not the gun in the hand of the patriot that scares the despot, but the mind behind it.---Jefferson

The tree of Liberty, from time to time, needs to be replentished with the blood of patiorts and tyrantsw--Jefferson

Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who do not.--Benjamin Franklin

It seems our forefathers understood the meaning of a well armed populace, and so do the politicians. It is the public, rather, who have forgotten and forsaken the inherent power of being armed and letting your politicians know how you feel. Not in the streets, but in the ballot box. Just a reminder to those who purport to do our bidding in Washington, we do hold the right and the power to effect change if need be.

Just as a point of interest.

I read George Washington, after the Revolutionary war, used his Generals sword to clear fields on his Virginia plantation.
