Tax Day Tea Party – Phoenix Arizona 2009
By Allan J. Ashinoff on Apr 16, 2009 in Commentary, Featured, Politics

I have to say that I was impressed with the number of concerned Americans that showed up to the Phoenix Tax Day Tea Party yesterday. My experiences at protest against illegal immigration left me expecting far less people than what showed up in front of Phoenix City Hall.
I’ve attended several rally’s against illegal immigration and have mostly been depressed by the lack of concern the majority of American’s seem to feel about losing their national identity.
I would guess-timate, and I have no true experience in this type of thing, that the crowd in Phoneix last night was between 2000 and 3000 United States tax paying citizens. Apparently Americans stand up and take notice when they feel the tickle of someones fingers in their pockets. Its a shame the theft has to be so obvious to prompt the the lethargic off their couches. We’re losing the America we grew up in in far more subtle ways than Obama’s debt creation …ways that few seem overly concerned about.
I’ve posted some of the pictures I took in the fed-up forum. Naturally I added my commentary between the pictures.
